Surfside Diner in Palm Beach

I had about 5 hours to spare so I explored the coast. Finding this restaurant was great for me. I sat by myself next to an older lady who helped me enjoy a lunch there. Sliders were good! When I try new place, I really focus on burgers or possibly breakfast foods. Also, I hear they have a baller breakfast menu.

Tables are very close together if you don't get a booth. My caprese sandwich with chicken was outstanding. Waiter was very attentive. Overall great food and decent value.

The mahi tacos were excellent! Although service was a little slow.

We drove by this place last year when we visited this area, but it was pretty busy, so we decided to visit the next time around. Well, it is definitely worth it.The area is just a lovely place to visit. The diner itself is pretty and appealing. Clean, fresh, and very pleasant place. Our server, John, a respectful young man, took care of all our Q&A and made sure we had a good experience. I ordered the Mahi-Mahi fish sandwich, and my wife ordered the turkey club sandwich. The Mahi sandwich, was great. No fishy after taste. No stench. It was perfect fresh. I told our host, this sandwich was difficult, because it is either good or bad, and it turned out great. I was pretty impressed. My wife's sandwich was pretty good too, so was her OJ, and my coffee.This is definitely a peaceful pleasant place for a breakfast or lunch, with really nice vibes and hope it stays as such.

Blueberry pancakes are amazing.

This place is just bad. It's the only option for breakfast in the area so maybe that's why people think it's good but the food is really bad. Ate here on a Sunday morning for lack of a breakfast option in the area. Place is clean and nice, ordered the scrambled eggs, poached eggs and two bagels. The bagels were either frozen or old and the eggs were tasteless. A side of home fries here is four dried potato wedges. Go anywhere else it can't be worse.

Good food and pleasant atmosphere. Service is friendly if a little slow.

First visit. Great atmosphere for a local diner. Make you feel like family. Outside seating. Good coffee. Oh yeah... Breakfast was really good. I had a breakfast quesadilla. Wife had normal eggs bacon toast. All good waffles look really good. Known for their pancakes. Next time will try these for sure. Will make it a regular stop. Want to go for lunch. Prices are very reasonable. Overall..go eat there. Enjoy.

I work on the island but I have always struggled to find reasonably priced food that I can quickly pick up. This was my answer! I can’t believe I haven’t found this place earlier. Great addition to the island. Food is delicious. I had the BLT.

Lots of breakfast choices for you to choose, They were busy place, you need extra time to wait for server after they put bill for you. (To many tables for one server to handle) food was good!

Quaint place for having breakfast in the island. The Palm Beacher is a stupendous salmon eggs Benedict breakfast.

I like this place. It has a big menu and the staff are nice and efficient. Try the chicken wrap.

Pretty good local brunch. Palm Beach Benedict was a bit too salty but good. Waitress forgot my water 2 times so I was a bit thirsty but she was good and it was a nice breakfast. Definitely a local spot because everyone looked at us when we entered, felt a bit out of place but not in a bad way.

Just happened to find this place by accident. Looking for somewhere to eat in a city we have never visited before, just blind luck we walked in. Cannot speak highly enough of the food and the staff - both 5 star.

Great spot for breakfast. Coffee is good, cappuccino great, chicken sausage delicious. Greens side salad hits the spot.

We've had breakfast several times and lunch. Great food, loved the Rueben sandwich and my husband's BLT seriously had more bacon than any I've ever seen. Affordable prices too 👍

Eggs benedict were pretty good, I think the hollandaise sauce could of used a little more lemon juice, but wasn't bad. The Diner itself is really cute and has a nostalgic feel to it. Service was good too.

It was the only place in the neighborhood that had reasonably priced food. But the quality of the food was better than I had expected.

This is what Dan Ponton does during the day and he does it as well as he does Club Colette. It's the other side of Green's which I like very much also but in a bizarre kind of way. Here the food and service are terrific and the crowd is absolute Palm Beach.........and everything is always nice.

Very expensive for what you get. Cold food, slow service. Holland size sauce was terrible. Precooked potatoes and filet mignon. Grapefruit and orange juice were terrible. I’m thankful I ordered oatmeal because it was edible but the blueberry pancake was not.

Amazing food. Ate here twice on this trip and the pulled pork was amazing and the chicken melt was incredible too. Super friendly staff. A little bit of a wait both times but not terrible.

While vacationing in Palm Beach we wanted to eat breakfast somewhere other than our hotel. So glad we stopped in here for breakfast. It was perfect. Light & airy atmosphere with a great diner menu! Option to sit at the counter or table. The omelettes were wonderful! Especially enjoyed the side of arugula! Nothing like a good diner to enjoy a traditional breakfast with a nice cup of coffee!!

Classic diner right near the beach. Big customizable menu, decent coffee, quick service. Ordered a chicken sausage scramble with lots of veg and multigrain toast. Toast was surprisingly good.

I had a BLT and a lemonade which was $13.00 approximately, The sandwich was really, really good, but I did not like the waitress at all. She did not give me silverware or a napkin, she did not want to give me change back from my bill when I paid her. Good food but I was not treated very nice, I would NEVER go back there. Customer service is important.

Food was good but once our server took our order we literally never saw him again. We had to get the hostess to bring us syrup for the french toast because it never made it to the table and then when we wanted to pay we had to flag him down for several minutes. It was very busy but perhaps they need extra help or someone called out. I could have come for my first experience there during an off day for them. I will try one more time and see if there is an improvement. Noone should be judged on just one visit.

We had a wonderful friendly break there with a nice huge lemonade and kind people around us. Thank you, we'll be back for lunch or dinner, soon.

Good food and fast service, 10 minutes to get my steak and eggs on a Saturday.

Great menu with a lot of variety. Sandwiches, burgers (including the elusive turkey burger), bennies, omelettes.. you'll be hard pressed to not find something for everyone.
